The largest cat and the smallest cat (Breeds)

What breeds of cats hold the record for largest cat or smallest cat?

Largest cat

The Maine Coon

Maine Coons are sometimes referred to as the “Dog of the cat world”, not just because of their size but also their personalities. They used to be commonly Polydactyl (six toes or more) cats. They can weigh around 15-25 pounds. Maine coon cats enjoy water. They like to go outdoors and need lots of brushing.

Maine coons are also my favourite breed of cat.

Smallest cat

The Singapura

Singapura cats usually are 4-8 pounds. They were developed in the 1970s from cats found in Singapore. They are active cats and they don’t like being left alone too long. They should be kept indoors because of their small size. They are often unable to give birth (according to one site). They have a life span of around 11-15 years.
